Client Technology Officer – Irvine, CA

As a Client’s Technology Officer you will be working with us and our clients in the Orange County/Southern California markets from your base in Irvine, CA. You’ll proactively manage client strategies and plans for their systems & network infrastructure, while providing leadership and best practices to other team members across our customer base.  You’ll find yourself leading and delivering on interesting and complex projects, with many diverse and exciting clients. You will be responsible for maintaining a role as a key member of our client’s management team. The ideal candidate will have a firm understanding of business & technology systems and how to leverage them to successfully operate a business.  The goal of this role is to improve the client’s business systems performance and IT service level through successful implementation and execution of strategic technology.

We are seeking someone comfortable in a consultative environment who can contribute in their unique way to our culture and team.  Qualified candidates must be able to hit the ground running and have a high level of familiarity with the Orange County business sector.

Position Objectives:

  • Maintain a high level of client satisfaction and retention
  • Manage and deliver strategic IT initiatives for your client base
  • Maintain customer profitability through direct and indirect customer management.
  • Act as a thought leader within our industry 


  • Maintain role as a prominent member of the client’s management team with respect to their technology needs, including participation in key discussions regarding business decisions and technology trends
  • Negotiate new business and partnerships to allow for additional company growth
  • Develop IT strategy, technology roadmap, and budget for assigned clients
  • Provide management, implementation and migration expertise for key technologies
  • Maintain knowledge of current business and technology trends 

Position Requirements:

  • Exceptional verbal & written communication skills with a strong consultative presence and personality
  • Minimum 15 years’ experience in an IT services management and leadership capacity, with at least 2 years spent in an IT consulting role including effectively managing medium – large organizations
  • Formal exposure, training and work experience with ITIL and ITSM
  • Familiarity and comfort level in working with Windows Server and Active Directory and a working knowledge of best practices tied to all things data center, migrations, security, performance, hardware, networking, backups/recovery and cloud solutions
  • History of increasing company revenues, selling IT services, and maintaining or increasing company margins
  • Ability to observe, detect and identify complex technical challenges and communicate resolutions in a clear and concise manner to executive staff
  • Work collaboratively with project managers, account managers, and customers in successfully budgeting, planning (including proposal creation), coordinating, delivering and closing IT projects
  • Degree in Business, Operations Management, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Finance, or similar required
